Carnival 2012

The 2012 carnival will take place on Saturday 26th May on the Memorial playing field.  The procession will start on the Fleet at 1.00pm.

Next Meetings and Events

Our next two meetings are on Monday 6th September and Monday 5th March.  Both these events will take place at the social club.  Our next social events are two Valentines discos which will both take place on Friday 10th February.  A kids disco starts at the social club at 7.00pm followed by an adults disco from 8.30 until late.  Entrance for both is £1.00.

Local Groups:  How to get donations and stay informed 

We are about the publish an application form for local groups who wish to be considered for donations this year.  This will be available to download from this website by the end of February.  Watch this space for further details.  

If you represent a local group then would like to receive minutes of the carnival meetings?  This will help you stay informed about the carnival and make it easier for your group to get involved.  If you are interested then send your name, the group you represent and your email address to chris.rowlett@btinternet.com

Join the Committee? 

WE ARE A SELF-MOTIVATED, FRIENDLY, LOCAL GROUP OF PEOPLE WORKING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS. WHETHER YOU CAN SPARE 2 HOURS A MONTH TO ATTEND OUR PLANNING AND FUNDRAISING MEETINGS, OR ARE JUST AVAILABLE FOR A FEW HOURS ON CARNIVAL DAY ITSELF - WE NEED YOUR HELP. 

All our meetings start at 8.00pm and take place at the Stoney Stanton social club on Hinckley road.
