Welcome to the Stoney Stanton Carnival website. 

A new carnival year has begun and this year our carnival is due to take place on Saturday 12th June.  We have already started thinking about this year's event and are looking for your help and support.  Our first fund raiser this year is the 80s night which will take place at the social club on Saturday 20th March.  Contact us if you want tickets.  You can support us by:

  • Donating a prize for the grand draw
  • Advertising in the carnival brochure
  • Coming along to one of our committee meetings
  • Entering into the parade with a float or walking group
  • Running a stall on the field
  • Come along to our 80s night and the Queens dance
  • Donate items in our bottle collection on the 24th May

The dates for our meetings are as follows.  All meetings start at 8.30 and take place at the Stoney Stanton social club on Hinckley road.  New members are always welcome, please come along if you are able to help.

Other important dates are:

  • 80's night on Saturday 20th March, 7.30 to 11.00 at the social club, £5.00 a ticket
  • The Queens Dance, provisionally this will be held on the 16th April, but this will be confirmed shortly
  • Bottle collection on Monday 24th May
  • Carnival Day, Saturday 12th June
