STONEY STANTON CARNIVAL COMMITTEE

Thanks to everyone who helped make the 2011 carnival a great success.  We had a fantastic day and you can see the photographs of the procession and the field on the 2011 photo gallery page.  the committee was also about the donate £5000 to village groups which was raised by the carnival.  These cheques will be distributed to local groups at the social club on Firday 30th of September.

The 2012 carnival will take place on Saturday 9th June on the Memorial playing field.  The procession will start on the Fleet at 1.00pm.

Our annual general meeting (AGM) will take place on Monday 12th September at 8.15pm t the Social Club.  We are always looking for new volunteers to help organise the carnival so if you want to get involved then please come to the meeting.  Thank you once again for your continued support.

WE ARE A SELF-MOTIVATED, FRIENDLY, LOCAL GROUP OF PEOPLE WORKING TO RAISE FUNDS FOR COMMUNITY ORGANISATIONS. WHETHER YOU CAN SPARE 2 HOURS A MONTH TO ATTEND OUR PLANNING AND FUNDRAISING MEETINGS, OR ARE JUST AVAILABLE FOR A FEW HOURS ON CARNIVAL DAY ITSELF - WE NEED YOUR HELP. 

All our meetings start at 8.15pm and take place at the Stoney Stanton social club on Hinckley road.
